"Virtual City Hall in Second Life"
My second life as a virtual architect.
I built a fully functional City Hall for the Municipality of Zoetermeer. A true replica of the real thing. Down to the pavement stones, interior decorating and the furniture. Scripting took care of true to life counters for the application of first life permits. The building was complete with meeting rooms, live video screens, mayor's chambers and plenty of room to fly around in.
In the vicinity I built a ski slope and an exhibition site with 360 degree panorama theatres on the subject of global warming.
Also in Second Life, I built an off-shore wind turbine park for Shell and the ING bank.
